Miss Trip, designed by Philippe Starck and introduced in 1996, represents a revolutionary approach to materials which required no to assemble. The design and production techniques allow the wooden legs to lock into the plastic seat and the wooden back with only pressure.

The inherent elasticity of the materials creates a surprisingly comfortable seat. The chair is produced by Italy by Kartell.

Part of the MoMA permanent collection.
