End of Summer Poster
Frontier

This piece is part of the AAVVGG Archive and not currently part of the collection.

Sean Lewis is an illustrator based in Toronto, Canada. His work is rich, expressive, and can feel as though it's constantly in motion. End of Summer embraces the collision that can occurs between moments of soothing relaxation and intense stress.

Commissioned as part of Frontier Magazine Issue 02 / Stress, Sean approached the notion of a map less so as a container for his work and more as a character in the illustration itself. The viewer is transported to some impossible beach somewhere in Sean's imagination, where beach bums are forced to confront the stresses imposed on Earth in real time.
