Design by Big Game
Big-Game is a design studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland. It was founded in 2004 by Grégoire Jeanmonod (b. 1978), Elric Petit (b. 1978) and Augustin Scott de Martinville (b. 1980), who are Swiss, Belgian and French respectively. Jeanmonod and Scott de Martinville are both graduates of ECAL, in Lausanne, Switzerland, while Petit graduated from La Cambre, in Brussels, Belgium. This trio of designers somehow combine a relaxed South European approach with a type of Flemish functionality, and this has brought them a number of international design awards. They have a preference for simple, functional objects and are comfortable working across a range of product design briefs, both large and small. They all currently teach at ECAL and the energy and kind of refection this brings can be seen in the positivity of their work.
