Kvadrat Remix 3

By Giulio Ridolfo

Remix 3 is an elegant upholstery textile distinguished by exceptional depth of colour, designed by Giulio Ridolfo. It comes in 23 new hues, adding to an already expansive palette which now offers a total of 72 sophisticated colourways.

Remix 3 looks unicoloured from a distance but reveals subtle details and colour contrasts when viewed close-up. The textile features a tight, minimalistic weave, and derives its lively colour play from a combination of two different mélange yarns, which each combine up to three hues.

  • 90% New Wool, 10% Nylon
  • Made in the UK
  • 100,000 Martindale durability

Kvadrat Re-Wool

By Margrethe Odgaard

Crafted using 45% recycled wool, Re-wool is a rich upholstery textile with a sustainable profile. The textile is partly made by reusing scraps from Kvadrat’s yarn spinners in the UK. It is designed by Margrethe Odgaard.

‘The idea was to create a both honest and environmentally friendly – textile with a poetic feel by recycling leftover material from Kvadrat’s own production’, explains Margrethe Odgaard.

Reminiscent of colourful stitchings on a darker background, Re-wool features exceptional depth of colour, creating a dynamic play on the textile’s surface when applied to furniture.

  • 45% New wool (worsted), 45% Recycled wool, 10% Nylon
  • Made in the UK
  • Durability Rating 100,000 Martindale
  • Pilling Rating 4
  • Lightfastness Rating 7

Kvadrat Divina Melange 3

By Finn Skødt

Divina Melange is a textile characterised by its lack of texture and nap and consequently the fabric accentuates the dimensions of the furniture, giving prominence to the colours.

Melange means mixture. The original six grey and beige colourways are produced by mixing varying proportions of either black or brown wool with white wool. The different colours of wool are mixed before the garment is spun.

The additional colourways have come about by dipping the two base colours in bold, virtually luminous pigments creating coloured melanges.

  • 100% New wool
  • Made in the UK
  • Durability Rating 45,000 Martindale
  • Pilling Rating 3
  • Lightfastness Rating 6-7

Kvadrat Steelcut Trio 3

By Dijkmeijer & Ridolfo

Steelcut Trio is a hardwearing woollen upholstery textile with the same construction as Steelcut. Originally designed by Frans Dijkmeijer, it comes in updated colourways crafted by Giulio Ridolfo.

The three-dimensional surface of Steelcut Trio resembles small pyramids or steel points. Despite the complexity of the textile’s innovative weave, it has a simple, precise expression. Steelcut Trio is yarn-dyed and made from 3 differently coloured yarns.

  • 90% New Wool (worsted), 10% Nylon
  • Made in Great Britain
  • Durability Rating 100,000 Martindale
  • Pilling Rating 4
  • Lightfastness Rating 5

Kvadrat Hallingdal 65

By Nanna Ditzel

Kvadrat’s first textile ‘Hallingdal’ has become the archetype of woollen textiles. The very durable upholstery fabric was originally designed in 1965 by Nanna Ditzel, and is now available in a version with an updated colour scale: Hallingdal 65.

Hallingdal 65 is made of wool and viscose, which complement each other well: the wool provides excellent durability and flexibility, whilst the viscose adds brilliance and depth to the colour. Both materials are dyed before they are spun, which highlights the rich texture of the fabric.

  • 100% New Wool
  • Made in Norway
  • Durability Rating 100,000 Martindale
  • Pilling Rating 3-7
  • Lightfastness Rating 7

Sørensen Leather Spectrum

The Sørensen Spectrum collection reflects a selection of colours curated by Note Design Studio, a Stockholm-based studio working with design strategy, graphics, architecture, interiors and products. They have removed some of the brightest hues and added an array of new ones to create a more natural, nuanced colour palette. Grouping colour families together according to warm and cold hues.

With over 85 colour variations, you’d be hard pressed to find a leather available in so many subtle tonalities as SPECTRUM. Including more subdued tones and variations that allow for easy pairing with stronger, more vibrant colours. Given so many colours to choose from, you don’t have to compromise on creativity.

Spectrum is a soft leather with a subtle texture that looks more uniform, thanks to a light surface finish that works to protect the leather from dirt, stains and any fading resulting from exposure to light. Spectrum is ideal for designers and architects, as it can be used in a broad range of industries. From commercial spaces, including entire shopping centres and boutiques to business settings, such as offices and reception areas, to hotels and restaurants, public buildings and the healthcare sector, as well as cultural institutions and private residences.

  • Semi-Aniline leather
  • Made in Denmark from European-sourced leathers
  • Appearance Matt, smooth surface with a very subtle texture
  • Care Over time if you see the need for cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects

Sørensen Leather Savanne

Savanne is the preferred choice of design masters, seen in famous designer furniture found in museums, galleries, showrooms, receptions and private collections all around the globe.

Part of what makes iconic designs so iconic is their eternal appeal, using a leather that can withstand the test of time. It’s just one reason why Savanne is a forever favourite and why we call it “the original leather”. Savanne is also pure pleasure to touch, with a look and feel that people are drawn to. The other reason is that it’s so soft, flexible. It’s often used for furniture, with a comfort factor that people rave about not just for days, but decades.

Matt with a subtle shine, Savanne is a full grain leather with visible pores on the smooth surface, adding character and authenticity to anything you design with it. As a semi-aniline, the surface has a special finish that helps protect it from stains and exposure to light. Last but definitely not least, the surface is a bit more uniform due to the finish, making it even easier to work with.

  • Appearance Matt, soft with subtle visible texture
  • Care Over time if you see the need for cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Sørensen Leather Dunes

Run your fingers along the surface of Dunes and it feels as smooth as butter. A special process involving sanding, buffing and applying a special type of leather oil to the surface gives it that almost velvety touch. At the same time, Dunes boasts a matt look that’s raw with a touch of understated elegance.

Part of Dunes' extra appeal are the subtle, natural markings which bring a unique personality to each hide. The colours we feature will also vary from hide to hide and with each individual hide. Watch for a delicious patina that will appear over time as a result of the leather’s exposure to daylight, interior lighting and usage. In fact, the more you use Dunes, the more the leather becomes shinier and smoother.

The Sørensen Dunes collection received the highly-regarded Nordic Swan Ecolabel, verifying that it meets rigorous requirements regarding the environment, use of energy and resources.

  • Aniline leather
  • Made in Denmark from European-sourced leathers
  • Appearance An elegant, matt surface with a somewhat velvety look and feel
  • Care Only vacuum clean with a soft brush. Never use soap or water otherwise the velvety look and feel will disappear. Do not apply leather grease or soak the leather. Avoid any chemical products, such as saddle soap, other leather cleaners or household products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects
